A Lesson with Leonid: flush inset entertainment cabinetry built for a Newport Beach resident
In this video Leonid briefly highlights the differences in framed flush inset cabinetry from the standard overlay or European frame-less cabinets.
The project discussed was completed in Newport Beach, in the heart of Orange County, and was built with beaded elements incorporated into the face frame to match the edge details found on the drawer fronts. A single side panel to the left was accented with mouldings matching the details seen in the drawer fronts, as well as that exhibited by the wood countertop, and the upper cabinet doors were installed to open vertically with soft closing mechanism to buffer the lift and closing actions. The drawers were built out of Maple plywood material and were affixed using full extension under-mounted Blum slides. The cabinetry was finished with white lacquer, matching seamlessly to the other cabinetry and elements in the room.Stonebelt Cabinets
